Celebrate Mardi Gras in Memphis at the 4th Annual TEP Gumbo Contest. This year's Mardi Gras party and gumbo contest will be bigger and better than ever. Buy your tickets today at http://tepgumbocontest.blogspot.com/ to taste and vote for the best gumbos, enjoy Tennessee craft beer from High Cotton Brewing Co. & Yazoo Brewing Company, and groove to New Orleans jazz from The Mighty Souls Brass Band ($25 for 21+ & $15 for <21).

Guest Judges include Virginia Awkward, Chef Kelly English (Restaurant Iris & The Second Line), Memphis City Councilman Edmund Ford, Jr., Former State Senator Beverly Kay Marrero and Chef Gary Williams (Dejavu Restaurant).

Pat McCooter, Queen of Mystic Krewe of Pegasus Memphis will be our Mistress of Ceremonies.

Tickets will be available for purchase online until 12:30 PM Central Time on Feb. 23. After this time, tickets must be purchased at the door. Call 901-301-3306 for more information.
