John Wendland & Andy Ploof: The Wilhelms!
CD Release Party! "Film at 11" is the first album by the Wilhelms, an acoustic duo featuring
John Wendland and Andy Ploof, of the band Rough Shop. It was
recorded with Gary Gordon of the Gordons at his studio in Sparta,
Illinois. The album features nine original songs and three covers (John
Hartford, T. Bone Burnett and Norman Blake), and features just Andy and
John on a variety of instruments, with Roberta Gordon joining them for
harmonies on Hartford's "In Tall Buildings."
