RECSI November Program and Dinner Meeting
Program: GOLDEN GATE BRIDGE AT 75
Presented by: Robert David, AIA Architect and Photographer and a long time Bridge District employee, informal historian and archivist of the Bridge.
Biography: Robert David began working for the Bridge District 40 years ago, during which time he has documented various construction projects including the redecking work in the 1980's and the still ongoing sesmic retrofitting.
He also uses an historic camera, which he will demonstrate, and he will describe his personal journey to meet the architects and artists involved. He also helped curate the recent exhibit of original drawings and artifacts at the California Historical Society in San Francisco.
