AS I LAY DYING (An Exclusive Showing Featuring Cast and Crew)
The Crossroads Film Society presents an exclusive one-time-only screening of James Franco's film adaptation of William Faulkner's "AS I LAY DYING".

Based on the acclaimed American novel by William Faulkner, AS I LAY DYING follows a family through their turmoil-filled journey to bring their mother to her gravesite.
The film was made in central Mississippi in 2012 and is directed by and stars James Franco (127 Hours, Spider-Man, Milk), Tim Blake Nelson (O Brother, Where Art Thou?), Danny McBride (Up in the Air, HBO's "Eastbound & Down"), Logan Marshall-Green (Prometheus, Quarry), Ahna O'Reilly (The Help), Jim Parrack (HBO's "True Blood"), and introducing Mississippi actor Brady Permenter. The film also features performances by Mississippi cast members Ash Taylor, Casey Dillard, Jessica Lemon Wilkinson, Dunlap Peeples IV, Kenny Cook, Ken Hudson, Cameron Spann, Marcus Vowell, and Emma Wynters.
The film premiered at the Cannes Film Festival in May and is currently playing in theaters in New York and Los Angeles. The review in The New York Times last week wrote that Franco has "accomplished something serious and worthwhile."
