Scott Sawyer Quartet
The Scott Sawyer Quartet performs at the Sharp Nine Gallery, celebrating the official release of his new album "Dreamers".
The show will feature a 90-minute set of compelling original music by Sawyer, spanning multiple jazz genres, poetry by Bruce Piephoff, and bold interpretations of classics
by Irving Berlin, Nick Drake, and Bob Dylan. Sawyer will perform with bassist Ron Brendle; drummer Brian Sullivan; saxophonist Dave Finucane; Grammy-nominated vocalist Kate McGarry; poet Bruce Piephoff and mandolinist Tony Williamson; all appear on Dreamers (to be released 10-21-2013).
