The Spring Standards - Boxing Day Double

Last year they videotaped and audio recorded both shows and released a wonderful recording online called Live in Delaware (or as we call it, Live at Arden Gild Hall :) Still wanna see the video please! Come see them again, some new songs promised! (And two DIFFERENT sets!)

Opening the first show is Inland Traveler (from Brooklyn) and opening the second is Delaware's own The DuPont Brothers.

The beloved band hat began in our part of the world, PA and DE, returns for its annual shindig in Arden, this time with TWO shows on Boxing Day. Touring behind their excellent new release, the double EP set Yellow / Gold, The Spring Standards always fill the house each "Day After Xmas" for the past who knows how many years. (Well, one was postponed by snow, so how do you count?) The first was in 2008, how is that. In any case, James Heather James bring a great high energy acoustic and increasingly electric eclectic sound to their harmonies. Now often backed by 2 supporting players, the full band sound had a new depth in their fabulous appearance on Conan recently. If only Aubrey Plaza would make an appearance to do another saxophone solo as she did that night! But I digress.
