Beginning Drop Spinning II

Join fiber artist and educator Prin Van Gulden for two virtual spinning classes, February 21st and 28th, 4 pm - 6 pm. Understand how to recognize wool's staple, crimp, and quality and learn how to draft, spin, and set your own yarn.

Participants will receive a beginning spinning kit prior to the course date (local pick-up or by mail) which includes a wooden Ashford drop spindle with hook, lead yarn, and 5 oz of washed and milled American Tunis wool from Slough Farm's very own heritage flock. All are yours to keep. RSVP required.
