Parker String Quartet
In 2009, Chamber Music America awarded the Parker String Quartet the prestigious Cleveland Quartet Award for the 20092011 seasons. The Parker was Quartet-in-Residence with the Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra from 2008 through 2010 and the first-ever Artists-in-Residence with Minnesota Public Radio for the 20092010 season. This year, they will be in residence at the University of Minnesota, working with chamber music students.
We urge you to be in your seats by 7:15. Promptly at 7:20, we sell unoccupied seats at the door.
At 6:45, a pre-concert lecture will be presented to discuss the music to be performed that evening. The free lectures are given in the performance space, so concert-goers may choose their seats for the evening.
