This class covers the basics of indoor growing with a focus on tomatoes. The goal of the workshop is to increase the availability of fresh local produce in Latah County during the winter months. Each participant will have the chance to apply for a kit to get started that will include a rack, lights and a beginning growing system. The class will cover lighting and watering systems. Support in early 2021 will be given to several participants who want to sell produce for income.
