Reflections on Home
Voci's twelfth annual Voices in Peace concert explores home as a deeply evocative place that is remembered, imagined, and sometimes lost or left. Home is found not only in place, but also in people, objects, words, sounds, smells, and feeling. Through the works of Ligeti, Debussy, di Lassus, Saint-Saëns, Pärt, Ruth Crawford Seeger, and Felicia Sanders, home also emerges as a place of peace.
