Join us as we honor the legacy of former Bessies Executive Director, Lucy Sexton, as the 2020 Angel Honoree!

This year we are thrilled to be honoring Lucy Sexton who has had an enormous impact on the Bessies through her ten-year tenure. Lucy's leadership expanded the awards in scope to recognize artistry across multiple disciplines and beyond dance. She established a deeper connection between the artistic community and the Bessies through partnerships with some of New York's most important cultural organizations. Join us as we recognize her legacy to The Bessies, and to dance in NY and beyond.

Toast this year's Angel Honoree and enjoy remarks from Bebe Neuwirth, special guests Jawole Willa Jo Zollar, Mikki Shepard, Tyler Ashley and a live performance by Melanie Greene.
