Winter Wonder - Wreath Making Workshop
Natural and Wild - a celebration of winter - seasonal wreath making
Gretel, from Queenies Floral Design will be hosting this online, winter wreath making session via Zoom. She is a florist and grower with a sustainable approach to her work.
Following a short introduction and demonstration, you will learn how to make your own seasonal wreath using fresh and dried, foraged materials. Think seed heads, pine cones, evergreen foliage and a thing else you can find that is sturdy enough to last outdoors, through the festive season. If you enjoy connecting to nature, and want a make a door wreath that is unique to you, then book a place. Its a great way to kick off the festive season.
Participants will receive a list of materials and tips about finding foraged materials in advance of the session.
This session is part of a programme of workshops and activities created by Boundary Way Project to develop connections and creativity through the Winter season. It has been made possible thank you to support from the Culture Recovery Fund for Heritage.
