BREATHE - ODDECH
2019, 25 min, Poland
Polish with English subtitles
dir. Daria Kasperek

In one of the districts of Lódz, where almost seventy-one thousand people live, a small thorn house was built between the concrete buildings. This small, wooden structure becomes a place to observe the wonders of everyday interactions. The taste of the sun, salt and concrete fills the conversations. There is space to breathe.

Rozmowy miedzy ludzmi wypelnia smak slonca, soli i betonu. I oddech.

COVID 19: THE WORLD IN DANGER
2020, 72 min, Poland
English, Polish, Spanish, Chinese and Italian with English subtitles
dir. LUKASZ RUCINSKI, JAROSLAW JABRZYK

An exceptional documentary film, made during a world lockdown caused by the coronavirus pandemic. Reporters from the investigative program "Superwizjer", using their international journalistic contacts, decided to introduce people whose lives were changed in a specific way by the spread of the infection. The stories presented in the film come from China, Italy, Great Britain, USA, Ecuador and India. The authors of the documentary have accessed many unique materials and photographs, some of which are drastic and show the unknown so far dimension of the pandemic. The film gathers professionally shot pictures showing the characters, news agency reports and videos captured with mobile phones or digital and handheld cameras by eyewitnesses of the pandemic together with opinions of experts such as virologist, anthropologist, journalist as well as human rights activist.
