Musicollaborative Child-Adult Duet Sessions
for Ages 2&3 and Their Caregivers
Facilitated by Elementary & Early Childhood Music Specialist Kaya MartÃnez
Hosted by the Annette West Music Studio
(in uptown New Orleans near Tipitina's)
This 5-week series is designed for young children and the special adults in their lives to explore listening, singing, moving, playing and creating together in a small group setting. All sessions integrate hand percussion and time is allowed for exploration and improvisation. The carefully selected and diverse repertoire emphasizes positive vibrations drawn from Blues, Jazz, Afro-Caribbean and Latin grooves, as well as other soulful sounds of the Crescent City and South Louisiana.
Please note that refunds are not available after session 1; however we will work with you to reschedule if you have to miss a week.
