Port Angeles Symphony Orchestra Dress Rehearsal #1
Conductor Adam Stern chose Mozart's spiritual testament, Overture, The Magic Flute as the opening selection for Port Angeles Symphony's Concert No. 1. Also on the program is Brahams' Symphony No. 1 in c, Op. 68. In addition, we are delighted to present Melia Watras as the soloist, for Martinu's Rhapsody-Concerto for Viola and Orchestra.
Ms. Watras is a prominent, virtuosic American violist who is an active performer and recording artist. She serves as Associate Professor of Viola and Chair of Strings at the University of Washington.
All seating for the Dress Rehearsal is General Admission.
