David Vaucher - is Associate Director in IHS Markits Cost & Technology group, where he oversees the company's analysis on North American upstream field operations. He holds a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rice University, an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin, and a Master of Engineering in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University at College Station.
Summary of Topic:
It is difficult to overstate just how different the new upstream paradigm is compared to 2019. While there has been some recovery since the industry's nadir in April 2020, the long-term outlook shows an industry well-removed from its previous highs.
