Mel Brooks, the zany genius of American movies, plays the director of the Institute for the Very, Very Nervous. Harvey Korman and Cloris Leachman are the head doctor and nurse who enjoy a gleefully sadomasochistic relationship after hours. Brooks tries to solve a murder mystery and cure his fear of heights in this hilarious homage to Hitchcock.
