In the 19th century, many young Jewish men, descendants of Spanish Sephardic Jews, left Morocco for the Amazonian town of Iquitos, Peru, seeking fortunes in the rubber boom and also starting new families that would use their Jewish surnames. This is the story of those children and their descendants in the journey for identity and spirituality.
En el siglo XIX, descendientes de los judios sefarditas espanoles, abandonaron Marruecos con rumo a Iquitos, Peru, en busca de fortuna en las plantaciones de caucho en donde iniciaron nuevas familias que adoptaron los apellidos judios de sus antepasados. Esta es la historia de sus descendientes en su larga jornada por encontrar su identidad y rescatar su espiritualidad.
