The Advanced / Long Form improv online classes are for those who have completed a LF course with me or elsewhere, or for more experienced improvisers or LF performers to continue to hone their skills. If you are unsure if they are for you, please contact hello@emmabird.info
The advanced class will concentrate on playing scene-based work rather than short form games. We will experiment with longer forms of improvisation, and explore what the technology has to offer.
We will explore skills such as:
Narrative and non-narrative longer scenes
Characterisation
Editing
Identifying Themes
Heightening patterns and games
Longer form formats
If you are newer to improv, then the regular IMPROV ONLINE classes will be more suitable as those are designed for all levels from absolute beginners onwards.
