The Agile Gym|
We will meet at The Grove in downtown New Haven for a superfun lunch break.
In just half an hour, you'll have opportunities to embody principles like simplicity, self-organization, coherence and sustainable pace. The event will be customized to fit the needs of participants with varying levels of Agile experience.
Games will be followed by optional, informal discussion to round out the hour.
Registration level include the event only.
Subscription level includes suggested practices to try during the month as well as access to private dialog about the issues you face at work.
The Agile Gym is offered by Elinor Slomba, a Certified Scrum Master. Elinor was an arts manager and fundraiser for eighteen years before becoming a Scrum Master. She works with entrepreneurs and startups to integrate creative and business goals and become more artful and adaptive in their approaches.
Her company, E. Slomba Arts Interstices, promotes Agile frameworks. E. Slomba Arts Interstices is an approved service provider to Connecticut's innovation ecosystem.
Elinor regularly speaks about Agile and Scrum - in March 2014 she'll be presenting a session at Agile India. She has also been an official blogger for the Agile Games Conference in Cambridge, MA, and the World Scrum Gathering in Barcelona. In October 2013 she was responsible for coordinating participation among fifteen satellites across four continents for a day-long virtual, interactive conference designed to improve the world of work.
Elinor also produces and curates events for various venues, including Co-Innovation on the Ninth Square, a walking tour for the International Festival of Arts and Ideas' Day of Innovation. She is co-authoring a book about distributed teamwork with Lisette Sutherland, a business consultant based in the Netherlands.
