Directed by Shemi  Zarhin
Israel, 2012, 127 min
Hebrew with English Subtitles, Drama

Full of quirky charm, this multi-strand tale about storytelling  and a fractured family  unfolds in Tiberias, where reality and fantasy cleverly intertwine. The connections between the characters and the profound implications of their stories grow in complexity as the film progresses. The central characters are estranged siblings who face challenges in adulthood: a son who has just awakened from a lengthy coma, a terminally-ill girlfriend, and a daughter who was killed in an army accident. This inspiring film has been a gigantic hit in Israel, earning 15 Ophir nominations (the Israeli Academy Awards). "Powerfulfull of warmth, compassion and love"  Yediot Aharonot

Free to series pass holders.
