SGFMS PRESENTS DRFTR & KATEY GATTA
While COVID-19 has delayed plans for the start of our 20th Season at this time, the rest of the season remains as is. COVID-19 may come into play depending on the time it takes for social distancing restrictions to be lifted and everyone to feel comfortable gathering in large groups once again but for now we are being optimistic and forging ahead. We will let you know if there are any further changes to the 2020 - 2021 Series. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

DRFTR & KATEY GATTA will start off the new year on January 16, 2021 at Port Arthur Polish Hall, 102 S. Court St.

Single Tickets for this show are $30 in advance.

About: DRFTR
Oscar Anderson-Shortt, also known as DRFTR, is a powerful, raw solo folk act bred in Niagara-on-the-Lake. Joe Lapinski of WOW! Recording Studio in St Catharines says, His music ranges from foot-stomping folk-rootsy styles, to more soul influenced grooves thatll get your butt moving. But the first thing that always catches my ear with his music is his voice and the words hes singing. His voice is like silk sheets on a pillowy cloud, floating above tree tops and mountains and city-scapes. He sings from the heart every time, and draws the listener into his stories. There is no denying his talent - and hes a nice guy on top of all that."

About: KATEY GATTA
Singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Katey Gatta writes songs that leave you feeling like youve caught the crosswind of a gentle breeze and a wailing gale. Sometimes people describe her sultry, sweet voice as mesmerizing or reminiscent of the likes of Norah Jones or Joni Mitchell, and well, sometimes it is. Her guitar playing is intricate and interesting, and features more than just a G chord.
