Most of us can negotiate a scene effectively, but what about a power exchange relationship? Does the submissive/ slave have any say in household finances? What happens when the dominant/ master breeches contract? Who does the dishes? Lets talk about defining our rights and responsibilities, to build the relationships that serve us.
PRESENTER:
Stormy (she/ her) has been active in several BDSM communities since her teens, when she was lucky enough that potential was seen within her and she was allowed to learn within a Leather family. Although currently living in Ohio, she is a founding member as well as the historian and educational director for East Tennessee Leather. Stormy identifies with a handful of labels, primarily demisexual, Leathergirl, and primal. Her catch phrases include I dont know, but I know who might, "a good cause is good cause for a party," and kink does not exist in a social vacuum. While she tries to maintain a more Socratic view of wisdom and knowledge, areas Stormy is particularly versed in include power exchange, negotiating in both the short and long-term, and communication. Her other professional skills include listening, use of an eight-foot bull whip, selective diplomacy, management of rabid animals, and asking meaningful questions.
