The Odd (But Lovely) Bird
This concert features the spectacular virtuosity of bassoonist Nadina Mackie Jackson in Mathieu Lussier's beautifully expressive 'Odd Bird Bassoon Concerto'. Other nature-infused works on the programme include Honegger's 'Pastorale d'été', English composer Finzi's 'Love's Labours Lost', and the joyful 2nd Symphony of Beethoven. The audience is invited to a post-concert reception at The Harbord House for drinks and food!
