There are two stages to songwriting. What are they? The conceptual stage and the craft stage.
Bill will also cover the elements of writing compelling melodies and lyrics. There are 4 or 5 musical motifs that I've found in beautiful melodies. What are they?
What are power words? How does one get at the essence of an idea with as few words as possible? Writers block? What is a great song?
Depending on interest, he also may go over the music biz part although some of it may be different in Canada.
