The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee
A wildly funny musical that follows a group of six teens vying for the spelling championship of a lifetime. While candidly disclosing hilarious and touching stories from their home lives, the contestants spell their way through a series of increasingly crazy words, hoping never to hear the soul-crushing "ding" of the bell that signals a spelling mistake. Six spellers enter; one speller leaves! This Tony Award winning musical has been charming audiences across the country for years and now its coming to Asheboro. This family friendly musical is a co-production with RYTC.
