WHAT'S GRUDGE ROCK?

Grudge Rock is a new monthly night at the Re-Bar that is a combo game show and music night!

The first monday of every month, Prof. Jake Stratton (BloodHag vocalist and announcer for The Rat City RollerGirls) hosts two of the top bands in Seattle as they go head-to-head playing the classic game show Family Feud, with the added twist that all the questions are music-related.

A GAME SHOW? WHAT DO THEY WIN?

Nothing less than ALL THE DOOR MONEY! Yes, folks, one band will win all the door money and their name on the Grudge Rock Plaque of Fame, one band will lose and get FABULOUS CONSOLATION PRIZES, and BOTH BANDS WILL PLAY MUSIC!

HOW DO YOU PLAY?

Here's how it works: We play a half-hour of "The Feud". Whichever band is behind in points at the end of the half becomes the opening act, who then plays a set immediately. The band which leads in points then becomes the headliner, playing a set immediately after the second half. The bands place on the card has nothing to do with whether they win the money, however. The band that has the most points at the end of the second half is the winner, taking home the grand prize: ALL THE DOOR MONEY! The other band gets FABULOUS CONSOLATION PRIZES! And of course the real winners are the members of our LIVE STUDIO AUDIENCE!
