FREE CLASS: Welcoming Nature with Native Plants
FREE ONLINE TALK: WELCOMING NATURE WITH NATIVES Monday, May 4, 78 p.m. via Zoom
This Pollinator Series presentation will focus on what we can do as gardeners and stewards on our own property to make a difference, to be keepers of our natural heritage. Carolynn Sears is a UConn advanced master gardener, and has mentored countless master gardener interns. Her talks at the Bartlett Arboretum and libraries inspire gardeners of all skill levels to garden in harmony with the natural world.
Carrie says: Whether it's dogwood blossoms, goldenrod, or red holly berries, plants shape our sense of place, determine the quality of the living environment, and have a direct impact on the creatures who depend on them, be they Monarchs, cardinals or myriad other insects and animals.
