Composer Spotlight: Masato Baba
Meet the composer of the George T. Shoji Commission piece that will debut at Crossing Bridges. One of North America's most respected taiko players, Masato Baba is a recipient of the Duane Ebata Award and maintains an active performing schedule with On Ensemble and TAIKOPROJECT. His training started at the age of 6 under the tutelage of his parents and founding members of Shasta Taiko, Russel Baba and Jeanne Mercer.
