Advanced Online Improv Drop-In
These classes allow more experienced improvisers (with a year or more of regular improv practice) to continue to hone their skills and play with people from around the world.
The Advanced Online Drop In will concentrate on scene-work and experiment with longform improvisation in the online space, transferring the skills we have gained in the classroom and performing online and playing with what the technology has to offer.
Classes will be responsive to the players present, but the material covered may include:
Sidecoached and longer scenes
Character and point of view
Editing
Theme
Pattern and game
Longform formats
When do they take place?
Tuesday evening 7.30-9.30pm, Friday evening 7.30-9.30pm, Sat morning 10.30am-12.30pm and Sunday afternoon 3.30-5.30pm
Who is it for?
The Advanced classes are designed for those with at least a year of regular improv practice. If you are unsure if they are for you, why not try an open drop in first, or email classes@thenurserytheatre.com with a summary of your experience.
