Mornings Like This
Morning, childhood and renewal inspire the final concert of Choral Arts' 2008-2009 season, which features the premiere of William Averitt's "The Dream Keeper," the fourth commissioned work by Choral Arts in two years, reflecting our commitment to commissioning new choral music from important American composers. Averitt will join us at both performances. Other pieces include John Corigliano's "Fern Hill," "Dance, Clarion Air" by Michael Tippett, "Sunrise" by Michael Hennagin and H. T. Burleigh's well-known "My Lord, What a Mornin'."
