Kris and Dee are Kingston, Ontario folk-pop duo Kris Abbott (The Pursuit of Happiness) and Dee McNeil (The Strap-Ons). Their new album, Bloom was released this year and had been featured on a number of CBC radio programs. Like their debut album Still Here Inside, Bloom has been selected for the Starbucks Worldwide Playlist.

Bedmates and bandmates, the duo met in 2003 when Kris joined the alt-folk group, The Strap-Ons, in which Dee played bass. They were married in 2005. They have been writing and performing as a duo since 2007. Their songs have a wide emotional and musical range that is a testament to lives truly experienced and a personal and musical connection that is honest and enduring. Their songs are both deeply personal and remarkably universal earnestly portraying the Canadian psyche and human condition, while at the same time healing them a little too.

They are thrilled to be playing their first Toronto show since the release of "Bloom" and to have their good friend, guitarist Tim Welch join them on stage. www.krisanddee.com
