The eye-opening documentary, Disclosure changes the way we think about trans lives on screen. Director Sam Feder provides a comprehensive history of transgender depictions in film and television, using clips from controversial film such as Silence of the Lambs and The Crying Game to positive representations including Pose and Orange is the New Black. Trans performers including Laverne Cox, Lilly Wachowski, Yance Ford, Mj Rodriguez, Jamie Clayton, and Chaz Bono reveal how trans stereotypes have influenced them and shaped their self-perceptions over the decades.
