The 9th Washington Women in Jazz Festival Emerging Artist Showcase is for jazz women and non-binary musicians in college or post-college.
This years showcase will be at THEARC in SE DC.

Plus our first band, Femme!
Femme is a new, student-founded ensemble at The University of the Arts coached by Hailey Brinnel. Their repertoire honors the jazz tradition and includes music by Shirley Scott, Thelonious Monk, Tad Dameron, Leigh Pilzer, as well as original compositions by members of the ensemble.
