Billy Hough in Cocksucker Blues
Billy Hough (Scream Along with Billy) developed Cocksucker Blues for Lea DeLaria's "The Club" in Provincetown. After its initial run, the X-rated tour through his sexual and romantic adventures was moved to Velvet where it was extended 3 times. The hilarious show brought in everyone from John Waters to Michael Cunningham, straight and gay kids, and several unsuspecting (and offended) tourists. Funny, heartbreaking, and ultimately uplifting, Cocksucker Blues features songs from Billys iconic album Venice, as well as covers from some of rock-n-rolls greatest lovers.
Billy Hough is the lead singer of the punk band GarageDogs, and has become a legend in NYC and Provincetown as one-half of Scream Along with Billy (with Susan Goldberg). He has composed music for many films and performs cabaret all over the country. A founding member of the Gold Dust Orphans, he has also composed music and lyrics for many musicals, and occasionally performs Hamlet when people let him.
