San Francisco Saxophone Quartet
Imagine Bach, Vivaldi, Handel, Couperin played with virtuosity and precision...on the saxophone! Founded in 1977 (and playing on the streets of San Francisco since 1989), these four virtuosi plays transcriptions of classical music along with original compositions to sound like a much larger ensemble. Hear overtones of oboes, trumpets, french horns, violins, and more. The effect is magical and gloriously musical and will ring in the intimate Martin Meyer sanctuary.
