About the iO Piano Quartet and Program:
The iO Piano Quartet originated in 2014 with current and former players at SF Opera and SF Ballet Orchestras, the Houston Symphony and at McGill University. They share a passionate belief in giving back to the community primarily through performances benefiting young aspiring musicians and successful Bay Area institutions supporting them. The quartet also aids other non profit foundations, including ones focused on more musically diverse live performances. The quartet thanks you for attending. This collective support becomes important in this era of arts cutbacks.

Proceeds will enhance the Berkeley Choro Ensembles activities and outreach. If you are new to the series, we hope you will become a supporter of this worthy effort. Performers, joined today by guests Jane Lenoir, flute, and Miles Graber, piano, are volunteers and eager ambassadors for music education and outreach. In these times of Arts funding cutbacks, your support becomes even more crucial.
