LPT a 10-Piece Afro-Cuban Salsa Experience

Putney, VT Next Stage Arts Project presents LPT, a 10-piece Afro-Cuban Salsa orchestra from Florida. The ensemble will lead musical and cultural workshops at The Putney Central School in the afternoon and perform in the early evening at Next Stage.

As ambassadors of Salsa music in the Southeast, they utilize music as a means of bridging cultural gaps. On this tour through the Northeast, theyre using dance, music, and song to bring the message that freedom, love, and inclusion are at the heart of Salsa music and infuse that energy into the hearts of all that come to the show.

The orchestra is comprised of rising stars from Northeast Floridas jazz music scene, including a number of graduates from one of the top-ranked Jazz programs in the country, the University of North Florida. As a result of their musical prowess, theyve opened for major artists like Trombone Shorty and Santana.
