Carefree Highway: A Tribute to Gordon Lightfoot
The Mad Raven Dinner Theatre is proud to present Carefree Highway: A Tribute to Gordon Lightfoot at the Grandview OMeara ballroom on May 22 and 23 2020.
Gordon Lightfoot is a Canadian cultural icon. He is credited with helping to define the folk-pop sound of the 1960s and 1970s. Many of his songs detail our countrys history. He is often referred to as Canada's greatest songwriter and is known internationally as a folk-rock legend.
Come and relive all of Gords hits in a comfortable live music setting surrounded by friends. Hits including Rainy Day People, Beautiful, Did She Mention My Name, If You Could Read My Mind, The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald, Black Day in July, Circle of Steel, Alberta Bound, The Canadian Railroad Trilogy and more.
Performances by Sean Cotton, George Axon, Christina Hutt, Bridget Lougheed, and the Mighty Lopez.
Enjoy a plated 3 course meal in a fine dining setting and then push back to enjoy the show from the comfort of your table.
The show is produced by Ian Crowley with Sean Cotton as musical director.
