Salon: Folk Baroque Trio - Portland
Folk Baroque Trio - Joy Grimes, baroque violin & viola; Emily Rideout, baroque viola; Zoe Weiss, viola da gamba - explores the counterpoint and connections between early music and traditional music from around the world. They perform on period instruments (fiddle, viola, and viola da gamba) and love sharing music old and new from a variety of traditions. Folk Baroque Trio concerts offer up anything from Bach to ragtime, or centuries-old fiddle tunes to original compositions.
