Eric Loy began his half century love affair with the guitar when the Beatles first appeared on the Ed Sullivan show in February of 1964. Since receiving his first guitar at the age of 10, he has rarely been seen without it. Eric began by playing rock and roll, then became interested in classical, jazz, and avant guard styles that include percussion and making full use of every part of the instrument. After the death of Michael Hedges in 1997, he began playing harp guitar and is currently playing a 24- string instrument custom built for him. He is a prolific composer in a broad range of styles, so no matter what your musical tastes, you will find things you can appreciate. Erics playing ranges from the merely complex and intellectually stimulating to jawdroppingly frenetic. You just never know what will happen when Eric Loy picks up a guitar, but you dont want to miss it!. For more info, visit http://www.ericloy.com.
