"Moose & the Mops are a Boston-based jam/psychedelic-funk band known for blending blistering jamming, warbled psychedelic tones and thoughtful lyrics to create a truly unique sound.

Their first studio release "Heat" was released in December and is a collection of songs crafted from numerous live "moppings" throughout the years to find their final form. Pulling from a wide range of influences like jam legends the Grateful Dead to 90's alt-funk in the Red Hot Chili Peppers and neo-psych rockers Tame Impala, their EP invokes nostalgic feelings while still sounding distinct and fresh.
