We love romantic-comedies!
This 2-hour session is for anyone - beginners or experienced writers - who love romantic comedies and want to write one of their own. Writers learn how to test an original idea, the 14 beats that complete the story structure, and how to avoid the common pitfalls and tropes of the genre.
Let us help you write your rom-com...because nobody puts rom-coms in a corner!
About your Instructors:
Kate and Heather have been writing comedy scripts together for over 12 years and have worked with Disney, Hallmark, and Lifetime, as well as a plethora of local indie filmmakers. They are represented by The Nethercott Agency in Los Angeles, are graduates of TheFilmSchool in Seattle, and studied with the late, great Blake Snyder (author of Save the Cat). They love comedies of all forms, but have a star-crossed love of rom-coms.
