LFAS Music Presents Kind Of Orange
The Langley Fine Arts School Music Department is proud to present Kind of Orange. This is an evening to celebrate Jazz and Alternative music performed by our Big Bands, Orchestra, Senior Choir, Chamber Choir and our student lead fusion ensemble Sharky Guppy. There will be special collaborations between our Senior Big Band and the Orchestra, and between the Orchestra and Sharky Guppy. We will be performing works by Bon Iver, Sufjan Stevens, Andy Shauf, Pat Metheny, and Bill Holman, among others. The evening will also feature original arrangements by student alumni and LFAS Music Faculty. All proceeds from the show are going to support the Langley Fine Arts School Recording Arts Program.
