Based on recommendations from state and local public health officials to help slow the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) we have decided to cancel our FASCINATIN RHYTHM concert. We hope to rescedule this concert in the future.
This lively program of everlasting songs will feature as our special guest the writer, broadcaster, critic and teacher Michael Lasser, who explores the history and themes of American popular music in his weekly syndicated radio program, "Fascinatin' Rhythm." His sparkling commentary will illuminate the ways in which eighteen of the great songs of the American Songbook meld words, music, sentiment and wit into a seamless whole -- with songs including "Star Dust," "As Time Goes by," "Ain't Misbehavin'," "Embraceable You," "One for My Baby" and of course "Fascinatin' Rhythm."
