Eric Elison
Eric Elisons music reflects a growing sense of spirituality, and mysticism. Beginning with songs he recorded for his first album Westside Cafe, Sand Creek, and Gallatin Morning, Eric has written other songs that add to what some listeners describe as Mystic Folk. Songs including River of Time, Buffalo Are Coming, Starlit Sky, Came Upon a Clearing, and most recently Coyote Waits, are firmly establishing his reputation for offering something different, that is reflective of the inner-mountain west.
Eric has recorded his original Colorado inner- mountain west themed music at Studio X in Nashville with famed producer Tom Manche. His songs, strongly influenced by the artistry of Canadian troubadour Gordon Lightfoot, are sometimes mistaken for Lightfoot's work.
Erik brings a lifetime of experience to his music. As a Naval Veteran he served his country with distinction as an Aviator, Navigator and Polar Explorer. He is also a husband, father, and grandfather and brings a lifetime of constancy, devotion, and faith to his music.
