EL G - The man who started the famous Zizek club nights and subsequently the ZZK record label, responsible for launching deep South American rootsy beats & "Andean Step" around the world. He gave a platform for upcoming artists such as Chancha Via Circuito, Nicola Cruz & La Yegros, who now have gone on to worldwide recognition.

SUMOHAIR - LA's own tropical beat maestro, who's original tracks & remixes have been spreading like wildfire in DJ's sets around the world, is also known more recently for his band "Reyna Tropical" which toured the US opening for Bomba Estereo. Prolific as they come, Sumo has been dropping new songs almost every month. Keep an out for his collaboration with Quitapenas coming soon in 2020.

CAPTAIN PLANET - An OG in the world of Global Beats, the Captain's trademark mix of sound can be heard on 4 full-length albums, numerous remixes, and 2 volumes of the bootleg mix series "Mystery Trip" which were featured in NYTimes best music of the year list. His 2017 collaboration album with Chico Mann led to live performances on KCRW's Morning Becomes Eclectic & Boiler Room. Stay tuned for a new full length album from him in 2020 on Bastard Jazz Records.
