SUBMIT #SoFlo
After a successful launch in New York City December of 2019, SUBMIT will be launching as a monthly event in South Florida beginning the week of Valentines 2020 (Our NYC event will continue to run quarterly).
SUBMIT is a special kind of nightlife event. Inspiration has been drawn from the Burner community and experience from the old school Rave scene.
SUBMIT seeks to provide escapism on a higher level.
Every DJ is carefully selected from among the top tier of EDM and Hip Hop mixmasters, up and down the east coast, whose know-how spans the decades. The music is a perfect blend of deep soulful House grooves, melodic Techno, grownup Drum and Bass and underground Hip Hop for the head and heart.
Our South Florida venue's indoor area is adorned with a hippy decor a la the 1960s. There will be a video game system set up in a comfy seating area. Yummy healthy food and drink specials will be served all night and patrons are encouraged to bring your own canteen to fill at our water station throughout the night; SUBMIT is committed to reducing our impact to the environment and promoting harm reduction practices.
The outside section will be our main dance area with back to back sets of the most upfront and up-to-date EDM being mixed by some of the area's finest DJs accompanied by expert percussionists.
Shamanic artists and performers are being assembled from South Florida's Burner and Rave communities to forge an atmosphere of positive psychedelic vibes. An area will be be partitioned for yoga and holding space.
SUBMIT is not a party. It is not a Rave nor is it technically a Burner event. It is an immersive interactive experience. It is a stage in which you are welcome and, we hope, emboldened to be expressive and freaky. We want you to feel safe and comfortable to be yourself and mingle, move with the rhythm and groove to the pulse of one and other's beat.
