The Whispering Tree & Us
The Howland Cultural Center, Beacon's unparalleled arts and entertainment venue, now celebrating its 40th Anniversary of enriching the cultural and social life of Beacon and the Hudson Valley, is pleased to present The Whispering Tree and Us!in an evening of richly immersive folk-rock brimming with evocative lyrics and a panoramic musicality.
Called "one of the most talented duos to take stage in NYC" by Dell Magazine, The Whispering Tree craft richly immersive folk-rock brimming with evocative lyrics and a panoramic musicality. Their latest album, 'Invisible Forces', debuted at #1 on the folk DJ charts, with four songs in the top 40. The album explores a deeply personal and political landscape, with themes of hope, despair and social consciousness.
Us! is what happens when three award winning seeker song writers join their eclectic talents and musical influences to encourage positive change, unity and dialogue. The trio spices their message-driven songs with luscious harmonies, robust melodies and unexpected twists and turns. Us!'s song, 'Too Much Crying' was selected as a Gold Winner in the 2019 Mid-Atlantic Song Contest.
