LIFT EVERY VOICE, A return engagment to the Comox Valley

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN:

The history of Gospel music and key developments over time.
Vocal techniques for singing Gospel (style and form)
Foundations of rhythm, groove and movement
Improvisational singing, call and response, and 3-part Gospel harmonies
How singing connects and empowers us
How to find your voice and communicate from your core

Well-recognized Vancouver Gospel musicians Marcus Mosely, Bill Sample and Darlene Ketchum , the creative team behind the Marcus Mosely Chorale (well-respected Gospel Chorale in Vancouver, B.C.), will guide participants through this incredible musical journey.
Who should attend: Open for ages 16-80. No prior singing experience required, just a love of music and a desire to learn and practice.

Friday, March 13th 7-9 pm
Saturday, March 14th: 9:30-3:30 pm
Mini Concert: Sat. March 14th: 7:30 pm
COST: Early bird rate $80 (until Feb. 21) Thereafter $100.
